New Trader Joe’s Body Scrub!
One thing about me is that I absolutely love body care and skincare products. And even more specifically, I love affordable skincare products. There is something so satisfying about finding a product that feels luxurious but doesn’t require spending a fortune.
I’ve also heard a lot of mixed opinions about whether physical scrubs are actually damaging to the skin or not. Personally, I still enjoy them. I just use them mindfully. Because I have sensitive skin, I tend to be careful about what I put on my body and I only use physical exfoliants about once a week or once every two weeks.
That being said, one day while I was grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, I randomly came across their Rose Oil Body Scrub and immediately threw it into my cart. If you’ve ever shopped at Trader Joe’s, you know they have this way of sneaking in the cutest seasonal beauty products that you didn’t even know you needed.
First things first: the scent. If you’re someone who enjoys floral fragrances but doesn’t want anything overly powdery or overwhelming, this one is surprisingly balanced. The rose scent is soft, romantic, and slightly warm rather than overly sweet. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers gently on the skin after you step out of the shower.
The scrub itself is sugar-based, which makes it effective but still gentle. The fine sugar crystals combined with small grains of luffa fruit powder help exfoliate the skin without feeling harsh or scratchy. It’s the kind of texture that buffs away dullness while still feeling comfortable enough to use regularly.
What really makes this scrub stand out, though, is how nourishing it feels. The formula includes cocoa butter, coconut oil, soybean oil, and jojoba oil, which means your skin doesn’t just feel exfoliated, it actually feels moisturized afterward. Instead of that tight, stripped feeling some scrubs leave behind, your skin feels soft, hydrated, and smooth, almost like you’ve already applied lotion.
It also comes in a simple eight-ounce tub, which makes it easy to scoop out in the shower. It’s one of those small self-care upgrades that makes your routine feel a little more intentional.
At just under $10 I think this is a perfect addition to your everything shower, the only downfall?… Ensure you grab it before it’s gone! We know Trader Joe’s loves giving us limited time items!
